About Jacey

Jacey McCowan, Founder and Principal of GreenHAUS Investment Group

I’m Jacey McCowan. I’ve spent enough time watching construction budgets, schedules, and pro formas meet reality to develop a healthy distrust of the word “guaranteed.” My approach to investing is simple: underwrite conservatively, understand the work behind the numbers, and create value through disciplined execution.

I didn't come into real estate through theory — I came through the field. My foundation is in construction management: budgeting, forecasting, entitlements, and multimillion-dollar project oversight across public and private sector developments. That operational discipline is what now drives how I underwrite land, structure investments, and manage capital on behalf of the partners and clients we support.

At GreenHAUS, we believe sustainable investing means more than developing new buildings responsibly. It means looking at every opportunity — including acquisitions, renovations, and value-add investments — through the lens of long-term performance.

When we improve a property, we consider more than what will increase its market value today. We consider how improvements can reduce resource consumption, improve durability and resilience, lower operating costs, enhance the experience of occupants, and strengthen the asset for the years ahead.

Sustainability, to us, is not a feature of the investment. It is part of the investment strategy.

I believe the best real estate investments create multiple forms of value: financial value for investors, functional value for occupants, and lasting value for the communities and environments in which we build.

We build with intention, invest with discipline, and create better-performing assets for the long term.
